Dark was supposed to go claim a soul in the middle of America yesterday. Turns out the whole situation was rather...chaotic.
I found out after my trip to Japan. Apparently, the boy was half dead, half alive. Since the Judges claimed the part of his soul that was dead had unfinished business, half of him remained a ghost. But we, apparently, didn't get that memo. All that was told to Dark was that he had to go claim some poor boy's soul in some place called "Amity," and bring him to the Light.
It all went down hill from there apparently.
The boy thought he was under attack, and changed into his
ghost "form" just to end up releasing a large amount of Otherworldly power (which ended up destroying a whole city block...great huh). Dark attacked back you see, trying to explain, but the kid didn't want to take any chances, and wouldn't listen.
Dark, thinking that the kid was really just a spirit that didn't want to leave, period, brought in backup.
Yes...that really put the tin lid on everything.
It was a horrible mess...even though the boy was left to his own devices, the Judges and the Archdaemon came down hard on Dark and his battalion. Dark then let it slip that the Judges were the ones who should have checked to see if the Death Gods had been sent anything regarding the boy's rather unique situation.
Then the Archdaemon came down hard on the Judges, and pardoned Dark and his crew...thankfully.
I think they contacted Chronos...or Clockwork...whatever he may be calling himself nowadays.... He helped them fix the whole mess by repairing all the Real Realm damage. Useful thing, time travel.
When I finished all my jobs in Japan, I was finally notified by Dark himself about what had happened. Once I had heard...well, let's just day that my interest lies somewhere in Amity. This dead-alive boy could prove very interesting....
