This was a remarkable week.
I left for America after my last log in order to get a few days free from my job; fufilling and depressing as it was.
Of course, knowing my life, it turned out to be as enlightening as it was frightening.
I didn't know that there were so many ghosts and Hollows running amok. In fact, it was appalling in a few places; spirits either interfering or scaring the living residents, where ever they went. If I wasn't so generous, I think many of them would still be around to do so. Some mortals are extremely lucky that I
like my job.
The most interesting thing happened when I visited Wisconsin (though there were many interesting spirits, meandering about in the Southern U.S...). I honestly wasn't expecting to run into any ghosts or spirits there, but it turns out that there
was one heck of a malevolent ghost there. When I spotted him, he asked what I was. This surprised me, as there was not one ethereal creature that couldn't know/sense a Death God. When I told him, politely, that I was in fact a Shinigami, his eyes lit up in a disturbing manner. The man/ghost had the gall to ask me to obey
him in a strange convoluted scheme he had planned. I told him, more forcefully this time, that I was a God of Death, and that I only answered to certain powers, none of which included him.
He actually thought to attack me. And I was surprised, which is why I was injured. Of course, I beat him back.
He looked the worst out of the two of us, believe me.
He flew away before I could do anything, however. Pansy.
Damn, this is only half of the story, but I must leave. I have a hearing to attend to.
