I've finally escaped from the catastrophe that was the committee Meeting.

Ahem... I mean: The Most Informative Meeting I've Ever Had the Honor of Attending.

Back to my story:

After that little escapade, I finally got down to the place they call Amity. Quaint, little American city...Slightly more stereotypical then most, but still...Nice.

I found the half-dead ghost boy fighting. This came as no surprise.

The half-ghost's name turned out to be (he used the alias Danny Phantom but he was unaware of the fact that, as a shinigami, I'm privy to his true name at all times) Daniel Fenton; he thought I was another Shinigami come to take him to the Light. I quickly reassured him that I was but a mere visitor, no harm at all. After that, he came to trust me rather quickly.

I brought up that ghost that had attacked me in Wisconsin during one of our conversations, and the boy reacted quite vehemently. Apparently, the aforementioned ghost was the Archnemisis of my young companion, a so-called Vlad Plasmius, and they had quarreled many times. He looked even more relieved and even ecstatic of my rejection to this Vlad character, and asked me to meet his friends.

I was worried that they wouldn't see me, but apparently, after so many encounters with the supernatural, they could see me as plain as day. Slightly disconcerting, but it made Daniel more comfortable, and thus, easier to talk to. I was very amused with such bright children, and they were at first uncomfortable around me, as most of the living would be: walking with, quite literally, death. Soon, after Daniel assured them I was anything but dangerous (not quite true...but ah well), they were talking animatedly.

In the end, I made a rather shortsighted promise about visiting, and if possible, lending a helping hand. He smiled brilliantly at the suggestion, and suddenly I felt that my promise wasn't actually as shortsighted as I had once thought.

Dark had asked me just about a million questions once I had come back, as he had wondered about certain things himself during the now called "Amity Fiasco." I had to sit through them as well...and by the end of the day, I just fell asleep at my desk.

Nothing new to report otherwise...must. Sleep.
